General Travel Advice for France

  • Passport Validity
    Ensure your passport is valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure date.

  • Visa Requirements
    Many countries enjoy visa-free travel to France for short stays (up to 90 days in a 180-day period). Check your country-specific section below for details.

  • Health & Travel Insurance
    We recommend carrying travel insurance that covers medical care and trip disruptions.

  • Currency
    France uses the Euro (€). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted, but small cash amounts are useful in rural areas.

  • Arrival Airports
    The closest major airport to our venue is Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), though Paris Orly (ORY) is also an option.

Transport Tips

Our venue is about a 20-minute walk from the nearest commuter train station, RER Line C – Maintenon (sometimes listed as Maine de Vall). From there, it’s roughly 40 minutes by train to central Paris.

If you plan to explore the countryside or more remote regions during your stay, we recommend renting a car for convenience and flexibility.
